The Technology Department of Panama Ports Company, in its search for enhanced solutions and implementation of the new Administration System for Containers (Container Terminal Management System – CTMS) was able to introduce a quality platform that offers as availability of high-level services to improve our operations, seeking always the utmost efficiency and productivity.

By using mobile devices, such as laptops, we can update real movements automatically on site. The connectivity, the flexibility, and the capability expansion of the antennae system incorporated to our container yard offer the best platform for the effective use of these portable computers.

Through the use of portable devices in our operations, we have been able to reduce considerably the internal processes by making operations more flexible and fluent in each one of the container tasks and in the loading /discharge of vessels in the quays.

With the use of this technology, improvements in the control of the terminal operations are evident, which translates into a considerable increase in productivity.

Today, Panama Ports Company is considered the most outstanding company in port matters in the region.
