PPC welcomed personnel from the Panama Maritime Authority’s Port Directorate, accompanied by international consultants, for a strategic visit to its port terminals. PPC’s multidisciplinary teams shared insights on operations, infrastructure, equipment, and future plans, reinforcing institutional transparency, strengthening public-private collaboration, and aligning priorities with Panama’s national maritime strategy and global logistics ambitions.

PPC Strengthens Safety and Transparency Through Joint Equipment Review
PPC conducted a joint inspection with union representatives, including a review of quay cranes. CEO Jared Zerbe and COO Franco Ning ascended the cranes with union delegates to assess equipment and working conditions firsthand.
The initiative united HR, Operations, Safety, and Engineering to reinforce standards, promote transparency, and drive continuous improvement across port operations.

The Malaysian Ambassador visited Hutchison Ports PPC, welcomed by CEO Jared Zerbe. The visit highlighted PPC’s role as a strategic logistics hub in the Americas. Renowned for its operational excellence and regional connectivity, PPC continues to lead in advancing Panama’s maritime infrastructure and port development, strengthening its impact on regional economic growth.
